Arrowhead Stadium opened in 1972 and serves as the home stadium of the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. It has a seating capacity of approximately 73,000 spectators and is renowned for its passionate fans and exceptionally loud game-day atmosphere. The venue underwent a major renovation completed in 2010 and features a natural grass playing surface, modern seating areas and large video displays. It hosts NFL games, college football matchups, concerts and other major sporting and entertainment events. In August 2026, the stadium officially returned to the name Arrowhead Stadium, dropping the “GEHA Field at” prefix.
