Opened in 1940, Autódromo José Carlos Pace, commonly known as Interlagos, is one of the world’s most historic and celebrated motorsport circuits. Located in the southern part of São Paulo, the circuit is renowned for its undulating layout, challenging corners, elevation changes, and long history of dramatic racing. It is best known for hosting the Formula 1 São Paulo Grand Prix and has also welcomed major motorcycle, endurance, stock car, and other international racing championships.
